Vinamold hot melt compound is a meltable vinyl composition for flexible molds as an alternative to silicone rubber. Because Vinamold is a craft material little or no tools are required.

It is suitable for casting polyester resin, plaster and epoxy resins. Vinamold can be melted at temperatures of 150-170 C and poured at 140-150 C. It is then poured over articles to be copied and then allowed to cool.

Waterproof molds are resistant to many chemicals and are not affected by temperature or humidity. Vinamold can be used to reproduce the finest details, and many casts can be made from one mold. Molds made from Vinamold can be re-melted, re-cast, and used again.
